Welcome to our thumbnail history of Longest Games in North America.  As you can see, baseball marathons have taken place dating back to the 1920’s.   In March of 1929 baseball Hall of Fame legend Branch Rickey used a 9 hour game to evaluate his minor league prospects.  Well, now it’s our turn.  HBQVB is ready to take the field and play the longest game in New York City history.
